The university group contributes to international understanding by cultivating and communicating Mongolian culture. This is done through lecture evenings, games afternoons, celebrations of Mongolian festivals and the communication of scientific knowledge.
Contacts are also arranged for archaeological excursions to Mongolia. In addition, weekly German courses are offered as well as support in dealing with offices and authorities.

The university group is represented at the International Office's Welcome Days, at the Festival on the Wall, at "Your Day in Paradise" and at the "Market of Opportunities".
